Choose which engines a workspace uses
Each workspace has its own engine selection. Open the workspace settings and tick the ones you want.
The eight are Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and DeepSeek.
What choosing costs you
Every question you track is asked once per engine per week. A workspace with 40 questions on 2 engines uses 80 of your weekly capacity. The same workspace on 4 engines uses 160.
So the engine choice is really a capacity choice. Fewer engines on more questions, or more engines on fewer questions.
No engine costs more than another
One check is one check whichever engine answers it. There is one exception: Grok and Claude are each limited to 10% of your weekly capacity, because they are the only two priced by how much they search rather than per question. That limit and the add-on that lifts it are covered in Capacity and engines.
Which to choose
If you are tracking a small number of questions, two or three engines with good coverage will tell you more than eight engines on almost nothing.
Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode are worth taking together rather than treating one as a stand-in for the other. They are different surfaces and, asked the same question, they give different answers and name different brands.
