Add topics and your own questions

There are two ways to tell Keylight what to ask.

Topics

A topic is a subject someone would ask an AI engine about, written the way a customer thinks rather than the way you would write a keyword. “Project management tools for agencies” is a topic. Keylight expands it into about 25 different questions and asks each one.

Most workspaces run on topics, because the expansion covers phrasings you would not have thought of, and because a score built from 25 different questions is far more reliable than one built from a question you chose.

Your own questions

You can also type exact questions. Use this when you know the sentence a customer says, when a sales call keeps surfacing the same phrasing, or when you want to watch one specific comparison.

A typed question is asked exactly as written, once a week, on the engines you have chosen.

Topics for measuring where you stand. Typed questions for watching something particular. Most workspaces use both.

Every question, however it arrived, costs the same: one check per engine per week.
