Create your account and first workspace

Sign up at app.trykeylight.com with an email address and a password. You will be asked to confirm the address before you can go further.

A new account has nothing in it. The first thing to make is a workspace, which is the container for one brand and everything Keylight learns about it.

Making the workspace

Press New workspace. You are asked for three things.

Workspace name. What you will call it in the list. For an agency this is usually the client’s name.

Brand to track. The name the engines would use. If people write it as one word, use one word.

Their website, optional. Used to recognise your own pages when an engine quotes a source.

Press Create workspace and you are in.

Then

Add up to three competitors, add the topics you want asked about, and choose which engines to spend your capacity on. Each of those has its own article in Workspaces.

Checks run on Monday. If you set a workspace up on a Wednesday, the first results arrive the following Monday.
