The evidence page: the answers behind a number

Every number in Keylight opens into the answers it was built from. One page per answer.

What each answer page shows

The question as it was asked. The engine that answered and the date. The full text of the answer, unedited, with your brand marked where it appears. The sources the engine cited, if it cited any. And whether the engine searched the web at all.

Nothing is summarised, shortened or paraphrased. What you read is what the engine produced.

Why this exists

Because this is the whole argument. Any tool can show a client a percentage. The question a good client asks is where the number came from, and most tools answer that with a diagram.

Keylight answers it with the text. A client can read three answers and see the thing for themselves, which is worth more than any explanation of the method.

Reading answers when the score looks wrong

If a score seems far too high or too low, the evidence page is the first place to look. Usually one of two things is happening: the brand name is being matched in sentences that are not about it, or the questions being asked are not the questions the brand competes on.

Both are fixable, and both are easier to see in four answers than in any amount of reasoning about the number.
