The Grok and Claude limit

Grok and Claude are each limited to 10% of your account’s weekly capacity. On Solo that is 50 checks a week each. The other six engines are unlimited.

Why those two

They are the only two engines priced by how much they search rather than per question. Each decides for itself how many searches to run, and the bill follows.

Measured against real invoices: Grok costs about 4.84 cents a check and Claude about 1.90, against 0.24 to 0.54 for the other six. Grok is roughly twenty times the cost of the cheapest engine.

Without a limit, a customer spending their whole capacity on Grok would cost more to serve than they pay, on every single plan. That is not a margin being protected, it is the product being given away.

Why we tell you rather than hide it

Because you will meet the limit eventually, and meeting it as a surprise is worse than reading about it now. The cap is visible on the workspace page before you reach it.

What most customers notice

Nothing. Ten per cent of capacity on the two most expensive engines is more than most workspaces use, and the six unlimited engines include both Googles, ChatGPT and Perplexity.
